Curse of the Huarache!

"It's been a hot summer here in England and it's not even August yet" - Those were my thoughts when, tired of the confines of my trainers, I decided to get myself a pair of huaraches (sandals for you my non-spanish speaking friends) last friday.
What happened next should be obvious, it's been pouring down since saturday! Especially today on my way to university it was just coming down with a vengeance as if to compensate for all the rain we haven't seen since June.

This course of events was, of course, inevitable since the curse of the huarache is nothing else than an application of Murhpy's law and no one is exempt from murphy's law.

Better go buy a pair of wellies.

It took you nine year to finally decide to buy ur "huareches", so it will take another 9 years to buy your "wellies", by that time u will eventually be living in a tropical place, but they will be helpful if a tsunami or huracan come along or end up in Manchester, hehehe.

If your boots slip on the snow, you can wear a pair of socks over them, which increases the grip of the boots.
Since we're all talking footwear.
