Went to see The Departed yesterday, I enjoyed it quite a lot but hated the ending. Go see it and find out for yourselves.
Although I enjoyed the movie and all there was one line in particular that struck me quite hard. There's a scene where Alec Baldwin is explaining to Matt Damon that they have to stop Jack Nicholson selling military technology to China. He say's something like 'We'll probably be in war with them in 20 years time'
What really got to me is that if you think about it it IS true, it's imminent even. It IS going to happen sooner or later. I mean think about your history lessons at school, what did you learn about? That's right, war.
Humanity's history is defined by war. It's sad but true, I wonder how many more years we have before we all blow each other's brains out.
Stupid humans.

Voy a verla a ver qué tal está.
Hace poco vi el final de Dr. Strangelove catalogado como el mejor final de una película. No recuerdo dónde fue.
De acuerdo estoy en que la guerra es el patrón de medida de la Historia. Hasta podríamos definir la Paz como un aburrido periodo de tensión comprendido entre dos guerras.
Vela completa, es un peliculon. Para satiras de guerra tambien ve Catch 22, o mejor lee el libro.
